A little sprinkle'l do ya

So today we had Ben and Stacy's baby sprinkle. A "sprinkle", for those of you not in the know (like me, before it was explained) is when you sprinkle the expectant parents with little necessities vs. showering with bigger "first baby" stuff. Things like diapers, wipes, lotions, etc. So the shower was a success.. good food, guys didn't get estrogen overload, and everyone seems to have had a good time. My two favorite quotes of the evening (both from expectant dad, Ben) were during gift opening:

• When opening a big box of 400 wipes, "wow, can you believe they fit 400 of these in this box? I'd forgotten how small these are! Now you get about 30 in a box this big!"... I said, "Ben, those are WIPES, not diapers".
• Stacy received a gift certificate to get a picture of her pg tummy.. a belly shot. It was clear that Ben had been carrying on a different conversation because when she said, "honey, have you ever seen belly shots?", he replied, "uh.. maybe in college?".

A good time for good friends who are about to welcome an awesome little bundle into their lives!
