Oy! What a busy few months. In addition to our current medical drama, I started a new job right around the same time, and then there was soccer season, and Cub Scouts.. oh my!
There have been a lot of days lately when I've been ready to tear my hair out. I had 15 minutes today, in between a fire drill at work and a conference call, when I had to FLY over to school to grab James and get back home. I was not the nicest mommy.
I just asked him for a hug, and sweet pea that he is, of course he obliged. I apologized for the way I acted early, got a kiss, and a, "that's ok!". I said, "how can you be so sweet?!". His response? "mommy, you're the one who made me!". One in a million.
