Sad news
We just found out that Sam Dixon, the man who married us, married Liz and Jim, and baptized James and Virginia, has died. He was in the hotel in Haiti when it collapsed and he passed away today after being pinned in the rubble for the last few days. Sam was there because he is the head of UMCOR, the United Methodist Church's relief effort. He was a very good man, and our hearts are with his family right now. If you've been wavering about donating to the cause, I hope this persuades you do so. It's a good cause, and I hope something good can come of his death.

Caryn so sad to hear that. My heart and prayers go out to you and his family. The pain and devestation going on in Haiti right now is mind boggling. They need all the help and prayers they can get. So sad.
